Create your own game world within the World of 2029

In the coming weeks, you and your followers will create a world that will hopefully capture the imaginations of World of 2029 players everywhere. If so, your ideas will be implemented within the game.

But we’re actually talking about more than just a game. In your game, you can create anything you want. However, in many cases, ideas will be so good that companies will want to take the idea into the real world. This is actually your chance to create a new toy or product, or a new movie or TV idea, or a new way of doing something. And, if you can do that, you will be entitled to royalties.

Are you ready to be a part of the World of 2029? Are you excited about the possibilities?

Try to make about one game “move” every day. You want to keep moving, but don’t rush. Make certain you think through each move carefully.

World of 2029:
Create Your Own World

Move 1

Choose your game format.

Consider your choices carefully. You need to be able to develop an entire world for that game format. Pick something that you are deeply comfortable with. It helps if you know movies or TV programs that fit that format, or perhaps an exciting game.

1. Sci-Fi

   Unlike a lot of science fiction, your sci-fi world will be optimistic, like the Star Trek universe. Technology solves problems, but that doesn’t mean problems are all gone. You will need to face challenges, using all available tools.

2. Finding Your Purpose

   The lead characters will be discovering how to make a contribution to the world in which they live. As an example, consider Disney’s Stargirl. She tried to make a difference, and she did. However, her path was not without conflict. She had to deal with hurdles and move on.

3. Community

   Your world will be uniquely based on a set of rules where everyone achieves their personal goals—by helping others to achieve their goals.

4. Relationships

   Discover everything that goes into building a strong, lasting relationship—romantic and otherwise—with people that you care about.

5. Mystery

   Work to solve a complex mystery, lasting weeks to even months. Or better still: Work to create a mystery that will engage others.

6. Choose Your Own
